Drawing from the shifting movement of sand and fragmented surfaces along the shoreline, the work considers how individual elements gradually settle into a unified whole without losing their distinct character.

Cast in brass and developed through repeated casting, surface refinement, and handcraft, the piece retains subtle variations that emerged throughout the making process. The smaller scale brings greater attention to the layered composition and the relationship between texture, light, and shadow across the surface.
